Steps for getting started
Select the example that best describes you:
1. I am an existing NHVR Portal user OR I have an Access, Registration or Vehicle Standards account in the NHVR Portal
The existing NHVR Portal administrator/s on the account will not change. Additional Accreditation contacts will be added to the account with ‘User submitter’ permissions.
- Log in using your existing password
- Accreditation will display in the side navigation
- To use the service complete user verification if you have not done so in the past
- Set up your nominated Legal Representative
- You can now view your Accreditation records within the NHVR Portal.
For existing accounts, if your existing NHVR Account name is different to your Accreditation Account Name, it is possible that a duplicate account may have been set up when NHVAS data was transferred into the NHVR Portal.
Please contact the NHVR Call Centre on 1300 696 487 for help to merge duplicate accounts.
2. I have never used the NHVR Portal before:
We have set up your account and also set the main contact listed in existing Accreditation records as the account admin user. Additional Accreditation contacts will be added to the account with ‘User submitter’ permissions.
- Log in by selecting ‘Forgot your password’ on the login page (www.service.nhvr.gov.au)
- Use the exact address your received this email on as your login
- Set up a new password and then return to the NHVR Portal and login
- Accreditation will display in the side navigation
- To use the service complete user verification if you have not done so in the past
- Set up your nominated Legal Representative
- You can now view your Accreditation records within the NHVR Portal.
